"Before joining SDT, I didn't appreciate financial planning for what it truly is," Jordan explained. Having earned his experience with a boutique Wealth Management firm, Jordan's primary focus revolved around the implementation and design of client portfolios. Jordan's experience has allowed him to fully "[...] understand the importance of developing a comprehensive plan that brings all aspects of one's finances together, whether through protection, tax, investment, or estate planning."

In his pursuit of becoming a financial planner, Jordan obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® professional designation in 2018. In addition, Jordan also completed the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation in June 2023 to help serve the firm's business and practice owner clients sell or transition their businesses successfully.

Along with being a Financial Planner, Jordan also serves as the Director of Planning & Strategy for the team. In his role, Jordan supports the team's growth initiatives, as well as coordinates research efforts for solutions and strategies that can benefit clients.

Originally from Canada, Jordan came to Charlotte on a golf scholarship and attended Queens University of Charlotte. Upon graduating, Jordan immediately pursued and later completed a Master's degree in Wealth and Trust Management.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys traveling, skiing, and playing golf. Jordan resides in Waxhaw, NC, with his wife, Taylor, their two sons, Carter and Quinn, and their Goldendoodle, Aspen.
